Domed Labels are created by dispensing a clear liquid Polyurethane Resin over a label or nameplate . The resin, in an exact amount, flows toward the outer edges of the part, and with surface tension stops on the edge or in a designed area and cures to create an aesthetically pleasing protective Dome or bubble over the surface below. The resin has a memory that will protect it from dents and dings, always flowing back to its original shape. Typically used in Automotive and high end industrial nameplates, our domed labels can withstand harsh environments, low and high temperatures, ultra-violet, most chemicals, salt sprays, and are impervious to water all while maintaining their original appearance.
